I have a new project that I've started. I want to make lap quilts for the Hospice in Burlington, NC. I spent a lot of time there with my sister almost 3 years ago. It would have been nice to have a small quilt that I could use for napping in the side chair or that Christy could have draped over her when she went outside. The first one is finished and I will take it to Hospice in the next couple of weeks to see if they're interested in receiving these. If not, I will find some other charity that wants them.

I have quite a few quilt tops ready to be quilted and it's been a new experience for me to make these. I have made so many children's quilts over the years and they're always very colorful. I'm trying to keep these more adult appropriate and gender-neutral when possible (although some of them do tend to lean a little on the feminine side).
Quilter's like to name their quilts and this one is called "Golden Chains of Love" I wish to thank Marianne for quilting and binding it for me (and for helping me with the quilt name) and Val for making the labels.
